Communities Of Interest
Southwark Alliance supports several forums which bring together residents from particular communitiesof interest, work together to influence the way services are delivered and encourage residents to be active citizens.
These forums include:

- The Southwark Muslim Forum: Creates a single and influential voice for the very diverse Muslim communities in Southwark. It pays particular attention to Muslim women having a strong voice and to inter-generation relationships. It is also concerned with project delivery, (e.g. Muslim Parent Forums). - The Southwark Anti-Homophobic Forum: Brings residents together with service providers to discuss improvements to the way we all ensure the safety of LGBT residents, has various sub groups, research projects, as well as regular forum meetings; all designed so that residents can contribute to discussions about creating a non homophobic Southwark.
