Enterprise Partnership

The Southwark Alliance Enterprise Partnership was established in 2002 to develop and oversee the implementation of Southwark's Enterprise Strategy and Action Plan. It is one of the economic theme groups of the Southwark Alliance (the Local Strategic Partnership) and works closely with its sister group (the Employment and Skills Partnership) to deliver the economic objectives of the Alliance. It ensures the Strategy objectives are addressed by working with various organisations involved in improving commercial conditions, increasing inward investment, promoting local supply chains, and supporting businesses to develop in Southwark. It also commissions valuable research on the local economy. The Enterprise Strategy is reviewed every 3 years and gives the Partnership and the wider LSP the opportunity to ensure that priorities are updated and progress has been made through improved Partnership working. The next review is schedule for 2009/10.
